The faired ZRX 1200S of the 2006 to 2008 model years, sharing the 1165 cc carburetted transverse four and chassis of the earlier S bikes. It is distinguished by its larger half-fairing, which gives good protection at speed, plus a twin-beam headlight and a dashboard with temperature and fuel gauges. It was aimed at middle-distance touring rather than sport riding.
